last night we played our last show before leaving for tour (not counting the tour kick off party June 10 @ Hole in the Wall). What a drunken mess. maybe it was the shot of Patron that Joe bought me @ Red7, on top of whiskey shots and Lonestar tallboys, or the fact that Creekside was simply hot as fuck last night (knew i should have worn shorts).
Josh English killed it. best lyric of the night: 'you've got a closet full of pretty clothes i've got skeletons in mine.' Sinead O'Conner was great as well. looking forward to possibly meeting up with him in Portland this October).
looking forward to more Hobomouth shows as well. desperately want to record 'faster now.' perhaps something to save my change for once the summer winds down. new Giant Steps single? faster now with a poem on the flip? sounds doable.
Prom Nite and Makeout Party tonight @ Mohawk. dem Makeout Boys got us shows in DE and NJ later this summer. looking forward to buying them a beer.
